What We Believe
THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the foundation of our faith. It is the final authority in all matters of doctrine and Christian living.
THE ONENESS OF GOD
We believe in one God, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost , who has revealed Himself as Father in creation, as Son in redemption, and as Holy Ghost in regeneration. Jesus Christ is the fullness of the Godhead bodily (Colossians 2:9).
JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead on the third day, and ascended to the right hand of the Father. He is both fully God and fully man.
REPENTANCE
We believe that true repentance is essential to salvation. Repentance means turning from sin and turning to God with genuine sorrow and a changed heart.
BAPTISM IN JESUS' NAME
We believe in water baptism by full immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, as commanded in Acts 2:38. This is not merely a symbol but a necessary step in obedience to God's Word.
THE HOLY GHOST
We believe that every believer should receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, as demonstrated on the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2.
HOLINESS
We believe that God calls His people to live holy, set-apart lives. We strive to honor God in how we live, dress, and conduct ourselves, understanding that inward transformation produces outward change.
THE CHURCH
We believe in the local church as the body of Christ, gathering together for worship, discipleship, fellowship, and the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
THE SECOND COMING
We believe in the literal, bodily return of Jesus Christ. We look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the catching away of the saints, and we live with an urgent expectation of His return.
ETERNAL LIFE AND ETERNAL JUDGMENT
We believe in heaven as the eternal home of the redeemed and in a final judgment for those who reject God's plan of salvation. Our hope is anchored in the promises of God and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
